Outbound vs. Nooks: the honest version

Every claim below traces to Nooks' own pages, support docs, and pricing form, checked 2026-09-08. Nooks doesn't publish pricing at all; every number we'd need to compare on price is missing on their side, not ours.

The one thing to know

Nooks is a destination. Outbound is an overlay.

Nooks' own homepage sells itself as "one unified workspace… eliminate the toggle tax": the dialing happens inside Nooks' own app, not inside your CRM. Their Chrome extension exists only to view a LinkedIn profile and register phone numbers; it doesn't dial. Signing up requires a workspace link from a Nooks AE or CSM; there's no self-serve path and no published price at any team size. Outbound installs in one click, dials from inside the CRM record you're already on, and starts at $19 a seat with a 3-day free trial.

Outbound
$19→$45→$70→$150

Lite ($19/seat/mo) dials one sequential line from a Chrome side panel inside your CRM, on Outbound's own line, with writeback; Starter and up add parallel lines (Beta), Teams needs 2 seats. Machine detection on every plan. Self-serve, no sales call, month-to-month, 3-day free trial.

Nooks

"Get in touch with the team to get a custom quote." No tiers, no team-size pricing, no self-serve signup anywhere on their site. Access requires a workspace link from an account team.

Questions we'd ask if we were you

Does Nooks have a Chrome extension that dials?
No. Their extension views a LinkedIn profile and registers phone numbers; the dialing happens inside Nooks' own standalone web app, not your CRM.
Can I sign up for Nooks myself?
No. There's no self-serve path and no published price at any team size; access requires a workspace link from a Nooks account executive.
Does Nooks' dialer data show up in my CRM reports?
Only partially. Their own Salesforce docs say calls log as a standard Task with three fields: duration, recording URL, number dialed. Detailed analytics and transcripts stay inside Nooks' own reporting, in their own words.
