Outbound vs. Outreach

Every claim below traces to Outreach's own pricing page, checked 2026-09-08. Outreach isn't a CRM — it's a sales-engagement layer that requires one underneath it, which changes the real price comparison.

The one thing to know

Outreach is a second subscription on top of a CRM. Outbound is the whole thing.

Outreach has no system of record of its own — its own pricing page names no dollar figures, only four "Amplify" packages differentiated by AI-credit allotment, and every quote is custom. Whatever you pay Outreach is in addition to Salesforce or HubSpot, which you're already paying for. Outbound is the CRM and the dialer, one price, published, starting free.

Where we're behind, plainly: Outreach's sequencing and pipeline-analytics depth is real, and its custom-object limits are the most transparently published of any quote-only vendor we've reviewed. If you're running a 50-rep enterprise motion that needs that depth, Outreach earns it. The catch for a small team: forecasting only exists on the top package, and every dollar of it stacks on top of a CRM you're paying for separately.

Questions we'd ask if we were you

Is Outreach a CRM?
No. It's a sales-engagement platform on top of a CRM you already pay for — Salesforce or HubSpot. It has no system of record of its own.
Can I get Outreach pricing without a sales call?
No. Every package is quote-only, with spend on top of seats via an AI-credit consumption model — no dollar figures are published anywhere.
Does Outreach's cheapest package include forecasting?
No. AI Forecast Projection, Scenario Planner, and Territory Management are listed only on the top package, Amplify Pro.
